This three-class course is designed for beginner photographers who want to move beyond taking photos and learn how to confidently direct a photo session. Students will build a strong foundation in photography basics, learn how to work with and direct people, and gain real-world experience during a guided on-location shoot with models. Through a mix of theory and hands-on practice, this class focuses on light, communication, and leadership behind the camera—helping students feel prepared, confident, and intentional during any session. Students are responsible for bringing their own DSLR Cameras.
My name is Julieta—photographer, artist, wife, and dog mom with a passion for documenting family history.
With over 10 years of experience, my journey began in Cancun, Mexico, where I photographed more than 280 weddings under my brand, Belmont Photography, and was named one of the Top 20 Wedding Photographers in Cancun & the Riviera Maya by Bridebox in 2015. My work has been recognized by the Mexican Photographic Committee, and I’ve had the honor of speaking at workshops and conferences across Mexico.
When I moved to Pinedale, I fell in love with Wyoming’s people, light, and wild beauty. Today, I find purpose here—handcrafting artwork inspired by God’s creation, from intimate portraits to sweeping landscapes and wildlife through my brand, The Overland Diaries.
Most of all, I love capturing you—your story, your joy, and the moments that become heirlooms for generations.
