This presentation will provide information regarding mule deer biology and what types of food deer like, and don't like. It will also cover basic habitat topics as well as providing a better understand of the long term ill effects of feeding the deer population.
Luke Schultz is an aquatic habitat biologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Pinedale region, a position he has held for the last 8 years. In this role, Luke works to protect and enhance Wyoming's water, watersheds, and waterways, with a particular focus on the New Fork and Green Rivers. In his free time, Luke enjoys enjoying the surrounding landscape either by fishing, hunting, skiing, or backpacking.
