Rooted in tradition and shaped by the rich landscape of beautiful Appalachia, this hands-on class will guide you through the simple yet soulful dishes that have nourished generations.
Chef Alise got her start catering, planning and designing events in the greater Boston area for various museums and historic venues 13 years ago. She then went on to be the General Manager of a boutique organic catering company north of Boston. From there she moved to large-scale corporate events and weddings for the top catering company in Pittsburgh, PA. After becoming a mother, she opened her own meal delivery service, Bistro Alise that creates dinners for busy households "with a pinch of magic". She is passionate about culinary history, French cuisine and nostalgia inspired cookery.
