This class time is open for beginning to advanced students. If you are new or interested in ceramics, this is the perfect class time. Students will learn to throw on the pottery wheel or hand build using slab or coil methods, as well as the basics and techniques. If you are intermediate or advanced you will learn tips or different techniques to help make you a better potter. All supplies will be provided.
Matt graduated with a BA in Fine Art with an extended major in ceramics. He later added a teaching certificate to his resume and took an art teaching job in Big Piney in 1996 and is still teaching there. He has always done pottery but started doing more after moving to Big Piney, probably because of the long winters. It was one day walking to school that he noticed a leaf frozen in an ice puddle, this flashed a memory of when he would play in frozen puddles as a kid.
