I took a lot of shop class when in school. Wood shop, metal shop, and auto mechanics. After graduating high school, I enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps where my primary M.O.S. was welder. While in the military, I attended night classes at the local college, (when the opportunity allowed) and pursued welding certificate. So I became an A.S.M.E. (American Society of Mechanical Engineers)certified 6G pipe welder through college while being a welder for the Marines. After completing my contract for Marines, I entered civilian life as a welder for a (several) fabrication and repair shop(s). It was while working at a repair shop that I again took night classes at another college and received another welding certificate ,A.W.S., (American Welding Society) for 4G structural steel. I've been doing welding repair/fabrication and mechanical repairs on farm machinery, heavy equipment, cars, pickups, trucks, and whatever else needs "fixin" for about thirty years now. I'm currently self employed, owner of Solid Rock Mobile Repair, LLC.
