Microsoft Excel 2021: Basics & Beyond

Spreadsheets! They have many uses at home and in the workplace. In this course, students will learn how to use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data, develop budgets and finance reports, and visualize data for professional audiences. The course will be tailored to students' personal and professional goals to ensure rapid real-life application. Participants may bring their own laptops, or use the BOCES computers during class.

Erin R Hastey

Dr. Erin Hastey is an education professional who specializes in helping groups move from conflict to connected action. She has used Excel to develop and analyze datasets, visualize data for research, create budgets, manage her time, and track her home cleaning schedule. She is the owner and operator of the consulting firm Board Leadership Consulting LLC. Erin holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MA in the Humanities from the University of Chicago, and BAs in English, German, and communication studies from the University of Montana. Around Sublette County, you'll find her volunteering with MESA and St. Andrew's in the Pines, working with her BLM mustangs, skiing at White Pine with her great uncle Bomber, and hiking with her dogs and husband Rafael (the other Dr. Hastey)
